Children’s Programs

Liars and Believers is committed to bringing students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to express themselves. We believe that theater training has the power to strengthen social bonds, grow creativity, enhance empathy and create civically responsible thinkers in the world. With our children’s programming, Liars and Believers looks to make an impact in our community here in Boston, as well as further afield. Through school visits, afterschool/community center programs and camps, we offer experiences that show that theater training isn’t just training for theater. It’s training for life.

School Visits

Whether it’s one of our fully staged productions or workshops from our resident acting company, we reach kids through fun, engaging theatrical experiences at school.

We are currently touring our internationally lauded show Yellow Bird Chase and offering companion workshops in clowning, puppetry, mask, and theater creation.

Afterschool and Community Center Programs

Even after the school day ends, we continue to offer students the opportunity to express themselves with stimulating activities led by our expert educators. These programs in puppetry, clowning, and mask foster empathy, creative problem-solving, collaboration, and develop confidence in each student.

Camps

Ready for some summer fun? Liars and Believers works with kids of all ages to provide a creative outlet during the long summer months. Liars and Believers runs full-day camps as well as workshops for pre-organized camps from June-August.
